Tips for New Dogs:

*Help our staff get to know YOUR dog better, faster!  When your dog has a collar with his first and last name embroidered on it in large letters or a collar that we make right here at Woof Dah!, our staff will get to know your dog's name and personality alot faster!  Also, uniquely colored collars and unique or bold embroidery color combinations really make your dog memorable! 

* For those puppy parents or parents to be:  We find that males who are neutered early tend to have better social skills and overall manners than those who are neutered later on.  We would recommend speaking with your vet about the earliest time he or she would recommend getting your dog neutered.

Money Saving Tips:

*Does your pooch sometimes come for half-days and sometimes for whole days? Get the best deal by purchasing a "Pug" half day package and a full day package of your choice.

*If your dog comes for daycare, using a daycare package towards an overnight stay will almost always save you money.  See staff for full details.

*Do you have a friend or co-worker whose dog might love Woof Dah! as much as yours does?  Refer a friend and get a $10 credit on your account when they turn in their Orientation Day Coupon. 

*Do you have more than one dog?  Try the Labrador Package.  You'll get 2 free "bonus" days of daycare.

*A half day of daycare (5 hours or less anytime during the day) is just as fun as a full day of daycare, but it only costs $15.   And, your dog can still get a bath or nail trim during a half day visit.

Bath and Grooming Tips:

*Not a big fan of fragrance?  Just let our staff know and we'd be happy to keep your dog fragrance free!

*Got the itchies? Try out a soothing Itch Relief Oatmeal bath.

*Baths and nail trims are available any time of the day!

Daycare Tips:

*Does your dog get too tired at daycare?  You are welcome to request up to 3 special nap times per day.

*Want to make friends fast?  We recommend coming on the same day each week for several weeks in a row to play with the same group of dogs and build "status" within the pack.

*We are open at 6am on all non-holiday weekdays for any early birds out there. 

Boarding Tips:

*Your dog will sleep better if you drop him off for an overnight stay at least a few hours before closing time/bedtime at 8:00pm.  The price is the same if you drop off anytime after 3pm.  And hey, a few extra hours of playtime is always a good thing!

*Will someone else be picking up your dog? Make it easy on them. Pre-pay or pay by phone so they won't have to worry about payment at pick up time.

*When picking up your dog, the rate is the same until 12pm daily.  So go ahead, sleep in!

*Got bark bucks?  Redeem 5 of them for a great prize from our prize bin.

*In a hurry? You can purchase Hamburger & Rice Casserole or a sensitive stomach dry dog food for your dog. You won't have to worry about baggying your dog's food and he'll get something extra special and yummy!

*An easy way to label your dog's food for boarding is by using our "Easy Baggie Labels."  Find them under the Boarding tab on this website.  All you have to do is print, cut and tape!

*We do breakfast around here pretty early (starting at 6am weekdays) so if your dog doesn't do mornings, we suggest you pack his first meal of the day as "lunch," which starts at 11:00am.

*Want your dog's leftover food back after a boarding stay? Just ask and we'll be happy to bag it up for you.

*Leaving the country? If phone service will be difficult, consider leaving a family member as an emergency contact and/or leave us an email address that you could check abroad at a cozy Internet cafe.

*Want Christmas or Thanksgiving reservations?  Be sure to reserve by early October for your best chance to get in.

*Is your dog into fine dining?  We have a refrigerator, freezer and microwave to prepare any dish he desires.

Photo Tips:

*If you see a picture of your dog on our photo slideshow that you like, let us know and we'll be happy to print it out for you.

*Would you like a picture we've taken of your dog emailed to you? Just ask!

Webcam Tips:

*Can't find your dog?  A bright or unusual colored collar to make him more visible on the webcams. (This is a great tip for those black labs!!)

Daycare Package Tips:

*Two half days from a "Pug" package can be used to pay for a full day of daycare.

*Daycare packages never expire and can be used towards some parts of a boarding stay.  See staff for full details.

*The "Great Dane" monthly unlimited package is by far the best deal if you dog wants to come 4 days a week or more.  The "Great Dane" package includes unlimited daycare and overnights for an entire month!

Misc. Tips:

*Woof Dah! gift certificates make great, easy gifts for your doggie friends. You can order by phone or online and we can even mail your gift certificate to the recipient for you if you wish!
