Holiday Policies

A $50 deposit is required to reserve the following days for daycare or boarding:  New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  Your deposit can be made through your customer portal, in person or by phone.  Reservations without a corresponding paid holiday deposit will be automatically cancelled one week after the reservation was made or 5 days before the holiday, whichever comes earlier.

 Cancellations/Deposit Refunds:  Holiday cancellations must be made 5 days ahead of the holiday to receive a full refund of your deposit.

  • What holidays are subject to the holiday deposit and 5 day cancellation policy?
    New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are subject to the holiday deposit and 5 day cancellation policy. All other holidays will fall under our normal booking and cancellation policies.  back to top

  • How do I make a holiday reservation?
    Holiday reservations can be made online in your customer portal, in person or by phone.   back to top

  • What if I need to cancel a holiday reservation? Do I get my money back?
    If you cancel your holiday reservation 5 or more days before the holiday you will receive a full refund of your holiday deposit. The cancellation deadlines are: December 27th at 8pm for New Year's Day, June 29th at 8pm for Independence Day, the Saturday before Thanksgiving Day by 8pm and December 20th at 8pm for Christmas Day. If you do not cancel by the cancellation deadline, you will lose your holiday deposit.  back to top

  • How long after making a holiday reservation do I need to make my holiday deposit?
    You have up to one week after you make your reservation or 5 days before the holiday, whichever comes earlier, to pay your deposit. You can make your holiday deposit through your customer portal, in person or by phone.   back to top

  • Will my reservation be cancelled if I don't pay the holiday deposit?

  • Is the holiday deposit per dog or per family?
    The deposit is $50 per dog per holiday.  back to top

  • What if I just want to book a day of daycare on a holiday day?
    You'll need to book your day and pay the $50 holiday deposit. Any deposit money left on your account after the holiday will be refunded or left as a credit on your account, whichever you prefer.   back to top

  • What if weather or another emergency prevents me from bringing my dog?
    You will lose your $50 deposit, but there are no additional penalties.   back to top

  • What if I have a holiday reservation, but I don't show up?
    If you don't show up for a holiday reservation, you will lose your $50 deposit.  back to top

  • What are the policies if I make my reservation within 5 days of the holiday?
    For reservations made within 5 days of the holiday, the holiday deposit must be made at the time of the reservation and is non-refundable.  back to top
